Beth

Beth is a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) and qualified in 2019 after doing her degree just down the road at Harper Adams University. She is originally from Leicestershire, where she completed her placement training, but moved up to Shropshire after university, as she fell in love with the area. Beth has worked in multiple practices but came and joined the BHE team at the beginning of 2024.

At work, she has just completed her course in animal behaviour after taking an interest in this subject since adopting her rescue lurcher, Cub. She also enjoys theatre nursing and has a keen interest in laparoscopic surgeries after managing the equipment and regularly scrubbing in to the surgeries at her previous practice.

At home, Beth has a rescue lurcher called Cub who came from Dogs Trust Roden in 2021 and a cat called Sally, who she rescued as a stray from her previous job in 2023. Outside of work, she enjoys walking with Cub and friends, crocheting, gardening and on a Saturday, she also helps out at Newport Market selling Moyden's cheese.
